Reading the complete creature catalogue

From UO:PvE Wiki

The catalogue covers every concrete creature class in the shard source, including inherited variants and noncombat NPCs.

Development source reviewed on 29 October 2026. In-game availability is unverified.

What is included#

The catalogue contains 730 concrete classes descended from BaseCreature, cross-checked with the C# syntax tree. It includes monsters, animals, tameable creatures, summons and familiars, bosses, guards, quest NPCs and vendors. The 15 abstract base classes are tracked as inheritance sources rather than listed as spawnable records.

A source class is not proof of a live spawn. An entry does not establish a location, current population, active event or enabled encounter. Objects derived directly from Mobile rather than BaseCreature are outside this particular catalogue.

Read the evidence label#

Source range means the script supplies numeric stat values or a random range. Conditional source range means that the code reaches different values through conditions. Dynamic source rule preserves an expression, constructor argument or runtime dependency instead of inventing a number.

Inherited setup is attributed to the class and line that define it. Runtime stat rules are separate from constructor setup. Paragon conversion, pet control, summoning, equipment, spells and scripted transformations can alter a live creature after construction.

Read the difficulty label#

Fixed source override is an explicit rating such as a service NPC at D1 or a champion at D100. Assigned encounter rating belongs to scripted expedition creatures whose wave supplies the number. Source estimate is a calculation from source stat ranges under the listed baseline assumptions. Dynamic formula means that a reliable static interval could not be derived.

Estimates describe an ordinary, newly constructed, uncontrolled, nonsummoned and nonparagon creature using the current Endless Journey expansion assumptions. They are not observed live ratings, and the minimum and maximum stat endpoints need not occur together.

Read loot and taming details#

Loot packs describe requested themes. A repeated FilthyRich or SuperBoss call does not multiply ordinary gold and equipment on this shard. Constructor drops, generated loot, special death hooks, inventory and artifact tables are shown separately because they can follow different rules.

A tameable flag records what the source enables. Minimum skill and control-slot rules can still be conditional. A type referenced by a summon spell can also exist as a wild creature; the reference is shown without treating every instance as a summon.
