From UO:PvE Wiki

Repeatable six-band contracts pay XP, gold and Hunter reputation.

Development source reviewed on 29 October 2026. In-game availability is unverified.

Accept a contract#

Join the Hunter Guild and open [Hunt. Accept and file alive in Britain or near a placed Hunter guildmaster. The master route uses the ordinary 3-tile desk and visibility checks.

The highest complete band supported by both recommended level and earned clearance is offered. Only one field contract can be active. These contracts are separate from guild commissions and Hunter lodge bounties or charters.

Contract bands#

Above the first band, five qualifying kills must be in Despise. These also count toward the ordinary total.

Credit and completion#

Each kill requires at least 10% encounter contribution, a living Hunter member, meaningful difficulty and the accepted difficulty band. Existing monsters can count when defeated after acceptance.

The accepted band stays fixed. Outlevelling that band can make prey cease to be meaningful, so file promptly. Return to a valid location with backpack room when objectives are done.

Filing pays the listed XP and gold plus up to 25 Hunter reputation within the shared daily cap. The next contract becomes available 30 minutes after completion.
