Qualify for the equipment#
Player progression is enabled in the reviewed configuration. An item’s required progression tier is the higher of its artifact tier and refinement tier. All conditions in the required row must be met. Use [Balance to inspect your progress.
| Tier | Level | Clearance | Active play | Days since first play |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 15 | D35 | 8 hours | 0 |
| 2 | 30 | D65 | 30 hours | 0 |
| 3 | 45 | D95 | 60 hours | 14 |
| 4 | 55 | D100 | 100 hours | 21 |
How artifact tiers are assigned#
Eligible equipment is treated as an artifact when it has positive artifact rarity or its type appears in the fixed artifact catalogue. Ordinary equipment without either marker has artifact tier zero. Catalogue inclusion is a classification rule, not proof that an item currently drops.
The artifact score is Lower Reagent Cost + 2 × Lower Mana Cost + 8 × Faster Casting + 5 × Faster Cast Recovery + 2 × Spell Damage Increase + 5 × Mana Regeneration + Hit Chance Increase + Defence Chance Increase + floor(Weapon Damage Increase / 2) + Swing Speed Increase.
| Check, in order | Artifact tier |
|---|---|
| Score at least 100 | 4 |
| Otherwise, rarity at least 10 or score at least 60 | 3 |
| Otherwise, score at least 30 | 2 |
| Otherwise, classified artifact | 1 |
Effective equipment-attribute caps#
These caps apply to the combined equipment-attribute lookup. Your band is the highest of tiers 1–3 for which you satisfy every qualification condition. Tier 4 does not add another attribute-cap band. Other spell, combat and attribute-specific restrictions can reduce an effective result further.
The values below are the progression caps, not a promise that every source of damage or every displayed item stat is multiplied by these percentages. Percentage attributes retain their normal units; stat bonuses, regeneration and casting attributes use points.
| Equipment attribute | Before tier 1 | Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lower Reagent Cost | 20 | 50 | 80 | 100 |
| Lower Mana Cost | 10 | 15 | 25 | 40 |
| Hit / Defence Chance Increase | 15 | 25 | 35 | 45 |
| Weapon Damage Increase | 40 | 60 | 80 | 100 |
| Swing Speed Increase | 10 | 20 | 40 | 60 |
| Spell Damage Increase | 15 | 25 | 45 | 60 |
| Faster Casting | 0 | 1 | 2 | 4 |
| Faster Cast Recovery | 2 | 3 | 4 | 6 |
| Hit / Stamina Regeneration | 2 | 4 | 8 | 12 |
| Bonus Hits / Stamina | 5 | 10 | 15 | 25 |
| Bonus Mana | 5 | 10 | 20 | 30 |
| Reflect Physical Damage | 5 | 10 | 15 | 20 |
| Mana Regeneration | 2 | 4 | 6 | 10 |
